A classic sauce gribiche is a mayonnaise-style cold egg sauce in the French cuisine, made by emulsifying hard-boiled egg yolks and mustard with a neutral oil like canola or grape-seed. The sauce is finished with chopped pickled cucumbers, capers, parsley, chervil and tarragon.
At Farm Girl, we make a version of this by adding some Italian nut crumb. The addition of the nut-crumb really brings the sauce together and creates a far superior texture
This sauce works great with any grilled protein such as beef, bbq chicken or grilled salmon.
Farm Girl Sauce Gribiche
In a bowl add the following
1 small pickle diced
1/4 cup of Farm Girl Italian Bread Crumb
1/4 cup of mayo
1/2 a lemon squeezed
1 bunch of basil/parsley or any other fresh herb you got.
1tbsp of olive oil or neutral oil
season with salt pepper
